Celebrating a World of flavors
Celebrating flavors from cultures around the world is a tasty way to nourish ourselves and appreciate our diversity. We are all unique with different bodies, goals, backgrounds and tastes! A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can help you create healthy habits that celebrate your heritage and introduce you to new foods and flavors. Every Monday we will feature a new flavorful bowl in our cafés on all campuses.!
• Week one, March 7th: Refresh your lunch with our Moroccan-inspired Quinoa bowl—a healthy blend of roasted cauliflower and tomato salad spiked with zesty mint. Cilantro and parsley shine with lemon and garlic in the chermoula sauce topping.
• Week two, March 14th: Savor the tangy flavors of feta, olives and tzatziki—a Mediterranean cucumber and yogurt sauce--in our Meze Falafel Bowl, complete with lemony hummus and crispy falafel.
• Week Three, March 21: You’re sure to be “sweet” on our Farro & Sweet Potato Nourish bowl, which features naturally sweet treats like apples, honey and sweet potatoes and carrots.
• Week Four, March 28: Spice it up a lil bit with our Quinoa and Chickpea Nourish bowl, featuring the warm flavors of chipotle and chili powder balanced with cool avocado and cotija cheese.
