Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2021

In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month every Thursday at Mission Bay and every Friday at Parnassus Heights we will feature cuisines inspired from varying Asian Pacific cuisines.

 

Mission Bay - Shorenstein Family Café

Every Thursday a different special menu will be featured.

Week 1 on Thursday, May 6th
Inspired by THAILAND our menu will be: Lemongrass Grilled Pork Chop, Thai Basil Chicken, Peanut Noodles w/ Tofu, Sauteed Garlic Green Beans, Rice

Week 2 on Thursday, May 13th
Inspired by JAPAN our menu will be: Okonomiyaki Pancakes, Pork Katsu, Furikake Chicken Wings, Rice

Week 3 on Thursday, May 20th
Inspired by the PHILIPPINES our menu will be: Chicken Tinola, BBQ Skewers, Fresh Vegetable Lumpia wrapped in homemade egg crepe with a peanut garlic sauce, Vegetable Pancit, Pork Lumpia, Rice

Week 4 on Thursday, May 27th
Inspired by KOREA our menu will be: Dakbokkeumtang (Spicy Braised Chicken Stew), Doenjang Pork, Japchae, Rice

Parnassus Heights - Moffitt Café

Chefs Special: Every Friday of the Month of May (7,14, 21, and the 28th) we will  feature Asian Crunchy noodle salad with a rotation of Shrimp, Chicken, Tofu and Jackfruit.

On May 21st Chef’s Table will feature:
Chicken Katsu, Kalua Pork, Spinach Yam stew, Coconut rice, Sautéed Cabbage, Huli Huli Slaw, Hawaiian Macaroni salad
