Black History Month 2021

In celebration of Black History Month every Friday in the month of February we will be featuring not only some southern staples but also North African comfort bowls. Be sure to come by to taste and help celebrate Black History Month.

Every Friday at Rolls and Bowls:

North African Ras El Hanout Bowls
Choice of salmon, chicken, or stew made with Ras El Hanout (North African spice blend consisting of cumin, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne, all-spice, cloves) on a bed of millet. Served with plantains, cucumber watercress salad, pickled carrots, and drizzled with a Harissa sauce.

Chef’s Table:
New Eritrea, Chicken, Zebhi Dorho-Combo 
Marinated chicken drumsticks simmered in onions, tomatoes, red pepper sauce. Served with choice of vegetable and Injera flat bread.
 
New Eritrean Vegetarian Plate 
Pureed lentils, mixed greens, potatoes, cabbage, and carrots with authentic Eritrean spices and Injera flat bread.
