MEAL SELECTIONS
You will be offered meal selections for each meal, and the menu is available from food services or the nurse. The special of the day will be served to you for each meal unless you call the nutrition office to make selections. Our diet clerks know about your food allergies and prescribed diet from your health record. The clerks will work with you to find menu items appropriate for your diet and guide you through the meal ordering process. There is no charge for meal service for patients.
HELPFUL REMINDER: please ask for condiments. Example: If you order coffee, please ask for cream and sugar, if desired. If you order pancakes, please ask for syrup and butter, if desired. Even salt and pepper are considered condiments and need to be requested.
