Embracing the tradition from Mexico and northern Central America we are celebrating The Day of The Dead. Swing by Parnassuss Heights or Mission Bay and feast on one of our special menus. And yes, we will have the traditional Pan de Muertos!
This fan favorite celebration is not to be missed this year! All three campuses will be featuring special menus to help celebrate this spicy and festive day!
At Mission Bay’s Shorenstein Family Café in addition to what the culinary team has dreamed up the UCSF Dietetic Interns has created a special offering taking inspiration from the Yucatan. The special meal will feature: Tikin Xic Fish (Yucatan fish), Esquites (Street Corn), Zesty Lime Rice and Dulce de Leche.
Sometimes the unexpected recognition is the best kind. This morning we had a number of colleagues, peers, and others reach out to congratulate us for being recognized as having one of the Best Burgers in the Bay Area (https://thebolditalic.com/one-of-the-bay-areas-best-burgers-is-at-ucsf-hospital-17a21cf768a8) according to the Bold Italic!! We pushed it out on our social media channels and widely circulated it to our team. Our Better Burger program was re-envisioned by our culinary and procurement team and implemented in August 2017 at all three campuses on the same day.
